Imtiaz Ali's Shah Rukh and Anuskha Starrer 'Jab Harry Met Sejal' To Release on August 4

The long awaited Imtiaz Ali film 'Jab Harry Met Sejal' starring Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma will release on August 04. Get ready for another romantic bonanza from Imtiaz Ali.

The film leads Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma took to Twitter and announced the release date, thereby preventing any box-office clash with Akshay Kumar’s next movie 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha'. Great move by SRK!

Clearly, the title of the movie is reminiscent of Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal starrer 1989 movie 'When Harry Met Sally' and also of Imtiaz’s super hit 2007 film 'Jab We Met'.
By the looks of the posters, it seems the film is going to be a fun-filled romantic adventure. In one poster, Shah Rukh Khan is clad in blue denim jeans and a white shirt; all elated punching his hand in the air, probably enjoying a dance number with Ansushka Sharma who is equally euphoric.
There is a map in the background of the posters. Clearly, Anushka and Shah Rukh are going to take us on some adventure.

In the poster, there is a punch line- “What you seek is seeking you”, which is a famous quote by Rumi, the great Persian poet.

In an interview with the Pinkvilla Imtiaz quoted- “Although I thought I will not be using any quotation from Rumi anymore, in my movie, then I can’t help it because it is so appropriate that everything I am trying to say in this movie is really what you seek is seeking you. It is a dialogue in the film, you will be surprised when you see it. So it is bang on,”

This would be the third time when Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma would be seen together on-screen after Anushka’s debut 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi' and Yash Chopra’s last 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan'.

Since the day this film went on the floors speculations started doing rounds on the internet and twitter about its name. The working title that was given to the film was The Ring. In fact, there is a ring at the bottom of a poster if you see closely!
