Check Out What Anushka Sharma And Imtiaz Ali Have To Say On Nepotism

Ever since Kangana Ranuat called Karan Johar, the flag bearer of nepotism and a movie mafia, on Karan’s show, the word ‘nepotism’ has been doing rounds on the internet like wildfire. It has now become a burning issue for the B-town. Just when the war of words between KJo and Kangana seemed to subside, IIFA 2017 witnessed something unexpected beyond anyone’s belief.

Three biggies of the tinsel town- Varun Dhawan, Saif Ali Khan and Karan Johar, while on the IIFA 2017 stage, hailed "nepotism rocks" and hinted that Kangana should not speak because when she does, she does a lot (reminiscent of Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Ghum song "Bole Chudiyaan, Bole Kangana").

The three were trolled and dragged on social media and few days later, they apologized. Now, it's the 'Jab Harry Met Sejal' team, who has something to say on nepotism.

The lead actress of the film, Anushka Sharma, spoke to a leading daily and said- "I would say, been launched by banner like Yash Raj Films. With me or Ranveer Singh, they have always put talent before anything else. I don’t think it was something I even thought of, quite honestly speaking, when I entered the industry. But at the same time I think sabke alag experience hote hain (all experience differently) and all have to respect and value that and the same industry different people can be treated differently and that has to be respected and valued."

The director of 'Jab Harry Met Sejal' Imtiaz Ali, in the same interview, also expressed his opinions about nepotism and said- "Hum teeno bahar se hain, agar hamare khilaaf koi nepotism hua hota toh hum yahan pe hote hi nahi. Main apne baare mein ye bahut confidence se keh sakta hoon ki agar main yahaan par hoon toh it’s only because of the love and affection of the existing film industry at that time (I, Anushka and Shah Rukh are outsiders. Had there been nepotism against us, we would have not been here. I can confidently say about myself that if today I am here then it’s only because of the love and affection of the existing film industry)"

It seems nepotism debates are not going to settle soon, even after Karan Johar recently said that he is not going to talk about Kangana Ranuat and nepotism anymore.
