The long delayed 'Jagga Jasoos' is finally hitting the celluloid on July 14. Speculations, rumours, personal tiffs and creative loggerhead-situations have all contributed to the film’s publicity, partly in negative sense and partly in positive.

Ranbir Kapoor, the film’s lead who is playing the eponymous character of Jagga, while speaking to a leading daily unrolled his views on his relationship with Katrina Kaif and about the plausibility of 'Jagga Jasoos' sequel.

He said- "Beyond Jagga, of course me and Katrina will stay in touch. But going back to the film, as Shruti and Jagga, we have stayed with them for three and a half years. So, if these characters are loved and people really take to this character, then we will miss them more and will come back with a sequel as we are trying to make this as a franchise and hopefully we will receive that kind of love and acceptance for us to take this forward."

So that’s good news for the fans of Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif. To be noted here is the fact that his relationship with Katrina Kaif has been under much speculations since 'Jagga Jasoos' went on the floors and that has also been stamped as one of the reasons behind such long delays of the film.

'Jagga Jasoos' is also Ranbir Kapoor’s first film as a producer. The long rich legacy of Kapoor echelon that starts from his great grandfather Prithviraj Kapoor, has witnessed so many producers in the veteran family, including and especially, Raj Kapoor. Speaking about production, if he was trying to continue with the legacy, he spoke- "No nothing like that. I don’t take that kind of pressure or responsibility. Anurag Basu and me wanted to collaborate again after Barfi. And we just thought we have an idea that we both love and this is a universal film, so we just decided to produce it."

'Jaggao Jasoos' has been directed by Anurag Basu and is releasing on July 14. It’s a story about a young teenage guy who is in search of his lost step father. The film also stars Adah Sharma in a pivotal role.
